Diversity through Dress Alix Burgess makes costumes and delivers workshops and talks on gender and dress.
They have worked on shows such as the National Theatre's Pericles in the 2018 season, and designed their own show 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' in California, Irvine in 2019. Alix trained as a Costume Interpreter at UAL Wimbledon College of Arts, and went on to an MA in Gender Studies. They have delivered at conferences during their education. They have technical knowledge in Leatherworking, Metalworking and Crafts. As a D&I trainer they work with the Creative Diversity Network to deliver bespoke workshops within the broadcasting industry. |
